ADDITIONS TO IRIDIUM RANGE

NGK have recently introduced iridium tipped spark plugs in colder heat ranges as well as shorter reach conical seat plugs. These new additions now cover many early model Commodores and Toranas, as well as engines that require colder plugs (ie high performance and racing applications). The conical seat plugs are also suitable for a number of Chevrolet engines.

As these parts have been manufactured for the American and Japanese markets you will notice that most part numbers now appear different . To assist your selection, we have included the new part number to order alongside the equivalent standard part number of the same dimension. (The Iridium part now becomes the performance option for the standard part listed.)

The plugs listed below accommodate all longer reach conical seat applications. They are suitable in commodore V6 and V8 applications as well as some XR8's.

The final group is the new range released by NGK known as IRIWAY, IRITOP and IRIMAC's. These are performance plugs suited specifically for engines requiring colder rated spark plugs.

These new plugs now fill most remaining gaps in our iridium range. We are now able to offer a range of performance plugs for modified engines and previously unavailable taper seat applications. If you have any queries regarding part numbers or applications please contact your nearest NGK office.
